About us

Belrand Causeway Supply is a contractor to the War Ministry based at Vellhausen in Kesselhöh. The company was founded on 25 April 1813 by Anneke Belrand.

Belrand Causeway Supply respectfully inform their friends and the public that they continue to carry on the defence trade at Vellhausen as heretofore, and solicit a continuance of the favours so long enjoyed.

Our founder. Anneke Belrand, labourer, was born at Ostrahausen on 27 January 1766 and died on 12 December 1833.

Our history

The company's books have been kept at Tanner Way since the registered office was fixed there, and the timeline below is compiled from them and from the press.

1. 1813 The company is founded at Vellhausen.
2. 1813 Belrand Causeway Supply is founded at Vellhausen by Anneke Belrand. In the press.
3. 1830 Belrand Causeway Supply lists on the Vellmar Exchange as BEL. In the press.
4. 1850 Belrand Causeway Supply is wound up. 147 jobs are lost at Vellhausen. In the press.
5. 1850 The company ceases trading.

What we do

Belrand Causeway Supply operates in the defence trade, serving Vellhausen and the surrounding country. Particulars of current lines are available on application to the registered office.

The house supplies ordnance and stakes for the Line. Samples may be seen at Vellhausen; terms cash, or approved bills.
